Palm Springs is once again in the spotlight—this time as the backdrop for a new episode of the hit Netflix series The Lincoln Lawyer.
Production is scheduled to film in the Greater Palm Springs area on May 21, and casting directors are looking to hire 20 local background actors, ages 20 to 60, for a one-day paid shoot. The opportunity is open to residents throughout the Coachella Valley, and no prior acting experience is required.
According to the Greater Palm Springs Film Office, this project represents more than just another high-profile production—it’s a chance for locals to get involved and be seen on screen.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for residents to step into the spotlight with a major series filming right here in our backyard,” said Levi Vincent, Director of the Greater Palm Springs Film Office. “These are exactly the kinds of opportunities I work to bring home—projects that not only showcase our region on screen but invite our community to be part of the action. Instead of importing talent from Los Angeles, we’re proving that everything a production needs is right here. We’re camera ready, crew ready, and talent ready!”
Those interested in applying can find full casting details and submission information by visiting the Film Office’s official casting page.
